What others are saying...

"The Austin, Texas musicfest South By Southwest is a must-visit destination for young artists searching for their one elusive big break, since it's an annual hub for A&R reps, talent scouts, and other music-biz types." Yahoo! Music, March 19, 2010
"Given that bands fly in from all over the world, the festival allows local music scenes to cross-pollinate in ways they cannot online." Wired.com, March 22, 2010
"As the music industry struggles to figure out a business model that works in the digital era, musicians increasingly find it's more important to connect with their peers at SXSW than it is to try to land a record deal or find management. Lining up a tour, or connecting with players from a powerful regional music scene, can lay the foundation for building a successful fan base." Wired.com, March 22, 2010
"SXSW is the ideal place to market your music, your band, your brand and yourself! If you read the list of registrants ... you'll notice it is a who's who of who counts!" Recording Magazine, May, 2010

Since its inception in 1987, SXSW has moved from a showcase for local musicians to a bazaar in which groups from every continent arrive in Austin to engage booking agents, managers, publishers and record labels as well as new fans." Wall Street Journal, March 23, 2010
